When to Call Us About Your Keypad or Remote
Keypad not responding after a battery change
Swapped the battery and now nothing works? Most keypads have to be reprogrammed to the opener after they lose power. We reset and reconnect it in minutes.
Lost or stolen remote
A missing remote is a missing key to your home. We can clear it from your opener's memory and set you up with a new one so no one else can get in.
Worn or sticking buttons
When keys stop registering or stick, the code gets unreliable fast. If cleaning does not fix it, the unit is usually near the end of its life and worth replacing.
Works sometimes, not others
Weather, interference, or a weak battery can make a keypad cut in and out. We track down the cause instead of guessing.
New opener won't sync with your old remote
Replaced the opener but kept the remote? They have to match. We pair the right remote and keypad to your specific opener brand and model.

We match the right part to your opener.
Keypads and remotes have to match your opener's brand and model. We bring and fit the correct one, no guesswork, no wrong parts.

We test it and hand it off working.
You watch it open and close, you leave with a code you chose, and we are not done until it works every time.

Common Questions
Why did my keypad stop working after I changed the battery?
Most garage door keypads lose their connection to the opener when they lose power, so a fresh battery often is not enough. The keypad has to be reprogrammed to the opener before it will work again. It is a quick fix, and we can walk you through it or handle it during a visit.
How do I reset or reprogram my keypad?
On most openers you press the “learn” button on the motor unit, then enter your new code on the keypad within about 30 seconds. The exact steps vary by brand, and older units can be finicky. If it will not take the code after a couple of tries, the keypad or the opener’s receiver may be the real problem.
Can you match a remote to my existing opener?
Yes. That is the most common call we get. We identify your opener’s brand and model, bring the matching keypad or remote, and program it so it works with what you already have.
Do you replace remotes for any brand?
We service all the major brands, LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Craftsman, Overhead Door, and more. If you are not sure what you have, send a photo or give us a call and we will figure it out.
My keypad works sometimes but not always, what's wrong?
Intermittent keypads usually come down to a weak battery, worn buttons, weather getting into the housing, or signal interference from nearby electronics. We diagnose which one it is rather than just swapping the unit and hoping.
Is it worth repairing or should I just replace it?
The part itself is inexpensive, so if the housing is cracked, water has gotten in, or the buttons are worn, replacement is usually the better value. If it is just a battery or a programming issue, there is nothing to replace. We will tell you straight which one you are looking at.
